Prof. Yanqiong Fei, Shanghai Jiaotong University, China  (上海交大机器人研究所费燕琼教授)

 

Bio: Yanqiong Fei received the M. Eng. Degree in Southeast University, Jiangsu, China, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China, in 2002. She is a Professor in Research Institute of Robotics, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China. From Sept. 2010 to Sept. 2011, she was a visiting scholar in Department of Mechanical Engineering, MIT. Her research interests include robotics, self-reconfigurable modular robots, soft robots, rehabilitation robotics. She published over 100 papers, 3 books’ chapters, 25 patents in these areas. She received the Shanghai scientific and technological progress second prize in 2009. She also received the Best Paper Awards of M2VIP (2012) and Candlelight Award Scheme（2016）. She was the Recipient of American Schoolfellow Scholarship in 2000. And she received 863 high technology project advanced group award in 2000.
